Web 2.0 Tools

In the table below you will find a group of Web 2.0 tools that we have selected to profile on this wiki. We decided to select a variety of Web 2.0 tools, so we chose to profile a blogging tool (Blogger), a web-based news aggregator (Bloglines), a social bookmarking tool (del.icio.us), a social networking site (Facebook), a video sharing site (Flickr), a mapping applications tool, a wiki creation tool (PB Wiki). We also selected a web browser plug-in and community that allows its users to discover and rate web pages, photos and videos (Stumble Upon). Also, we have a web feed management provider that provides custom RSS feeds called FeedBurner. We also have a video sharing site, called YouTube as well as an alternative to del.icio.us called diigo. The Web 2.0 universe is very crowded, and for each of these tools there are alternatives. For a list of some recent Web 2.0 award winners, please click on the following hyperlink:

By clicking on the diigo logo above, you will be taken to the diigo homepage. It's another social bookmarking site.
