As you can tell from the del.icio.us logo, this Web 2.0 tool is a social bookmarking site. It allows users to keep all of their "favorites" or "bookmarks" with them at all times. In other words, when you log on to del.icio.us you have access to all of your favorite websites that you have tagged. Another Web 2.0 element of this site is that you can then share those bookmarked sites with other users, and check out what other people are bookmarking. Very cool.

When you go to del.icio.us you will have to register and set up an account (it's free). You'll have to enter some personal details, such as your user name, your full name, your e-mail address, you'll also have to enter a password. Last, but not least, you'll have to enter a word into a word verification tool. Then you're ready to go! Next you'll have to install some del.icio.us buttons (which is easy to do).

Here is a brief tutorial video on the world of del.icio.us.
